The old adage may be true: good looks do run in the family. The cousin of r&b’s latest sex symbol, Trey Songz, Javar Gholson is  more than just (chocolately) good looks. A self-proclaimed ‘student of the entertainment industry” the 25 -year old  has accomplished more in the crazy world of entertainment than some who have been in the industry for years.

The official road manager to Trey Songz and  former America’s Next Top Model  contestant and current ‘Lady Hennessey’ model, Tocarra Jones, Javar has also dabbled in modeling and acting. The former college football star, most recently graced women with  a little eyecandy in Jive recording artist, K Michelle’s new video ‘Just Can’t Do It’. Still he admits that the executive side of the entertainment industry is his preference and modeling and acting is an art that is appreciated and practiced when opportunities are present.

A lover of music (ladies, he loves everything from Gucci to Mozart), Javar has dedicated himself to learning as much about the business of entertainment  as possible. Working in corporate sales for three years, the serial entrepreneur recently decided to pursue his passion full-time; and he hasn’t looked back since.

Now on to the good stuff that you ladies would like to know…

Sexy, funny, intelligent, and inspiring, Javar dished on his biggest turnoffs, what he likes most in women, and  why he is the romantic type.

What are you initially attracted to in a woman?

I have a hair fetish. I’ll walk up to a woman and touch her hair.

Does it matter, if it’s real or fake? (Just asking)

It’s got to be real.

So is that one of your turn-offs?

Yes, unnatural things.  If she has fake hair, fake nails, fake eyelashes, fake boobs, and butt…that’s a turnoff.  Those things are good for art but I’d rather natural beauty.

Another thing that’s a turn-off is women who smoke cigarettes.

Would you consider yourself romantic?

Yeah. I think I am.

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for a woman?

Let me sensor my thoughts (laughs). I used to make my girl puzzles in college. Little word puzzles, like fill-in-the-blanks. I’d give her a note and it would have blank spaces and she would have to fill in the space.

What would you say is the biggest misconception that women have about men?

Women think that infidelity is rampant and unavoidable within today’s society; but good guys do exist.

Women need to understand men don’t love in the same way as they do but that doesn’t mean we don’t love.

What characteristics does your ‘ideal’ woman possess?

A smart girl, a girl who is determined and has goals. I meet a lot of girls just in the way who are always on the scene. I want a woman who doesn’t have to go out and we still have fun. A woman who appreciates the small things.

Beauty is easy to find everywhere I go but goals and a drive to succeed with a partner means more. I want a teammate who knows it’ll be ups and downs but we ‘gonna’ tackle life together.
