By now every media outlet has broad-casted the Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries pending divorce. Although I was skeptical about their marriage lasting, I didn’t expect it to be over so soon. Then there was that other part of me that hoped they would actually last and their marriage wasn’t in fact a publicity stunt. So much for that tad bit of hope.

While I could actually care less if Kim and Kris stayed together, divorced, or even reproduced, my hope was solely based on the fact that I didn’t want two people to take something so sacred and make it a publicity stunt for the sake of more fame and fortune; but after being married for only two months, it seems that either Kim and Kris don’t have any sort of fight in them to make a relationship work or their marriage was truly all for a bit of extra pub..and not to mention the millions of dollars made from their wedding photos and other coverage. My gut instinct is telling me it had more to do with the latter. And if that is this case, it only leads me to wonder what won’t some people in Hollywood do for money these days?

In Hollywood acts done behind closed doors (like sex) are broad-casted for the world to see (and buy on DVD); and taking vows before God are taken just as seriously as a high school promise ring. At what point do some of these celebrities allow fame to take a backseat to morals and values?

I’m sure we will see what stories the two of them conjure up over the next few weeks to gain even more publicity. What are your thoughts?

Although quite simple, I love Leona Lewis’ look at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. A minimalist when it comes to fashion, I love the simplicity yet chicness of the look, especially the bit of edge she demonstrated by pairing the look with apple red pumps.

Yes, HDF has been giving you a Beyonce overload lately; but the girl is definitely busy working before she gets even busier being a mom. The hard-working singer released a sneak peek of one of my favorite songs off of her latest album. The video for Love on Top, channels another one of my favorite throwback songs from New Edition ‘If It Isn’t Love’.

Of course Bey looks fabulous as she keeps the video simple with only a few back-up singers/dancers in a small studio.

I think Oprah realized that her fans wanted  to see more of her in front of the camera. After starting her own network OWN, Oprah hasn’t seen as much success as she’s used to with the less than outstanding reviews of her network. So of course she knew it was time to give her fans what they wanted: more of her.

Oprah, who claims she always knew she would be a teacher, has started a new series where she opens up about some of the biggest lessons learned in both her personal and professional life, 25 lessons to be exact. The show, Oprah’s Lifeclass, begins tonight at 8 pm EST on OWN.

I don’t know about you, but I’m actually more excited about this than I was about her actual talk show. I’ve always been a huge Oprah fan and enjoyed the show, but I never watched regularly. I think these classes, in which Oprah’s says will make your lives richer, will be great lessons and definitely different than the Oprah Winfrey Show. Will you be watching?

Although I’ve posted this to numerous social networking sites, I decided to post this today for my HerDailyFix readers. Apple Founder and former CEO Steve Jobs, who died earlier this week, was an inspiration to many people both in and out of the tech world.

Dropping out of college after one semester to ‘do what he loved’, Jobs’ hard work and passion paid off eventually making him one of the wealthiest and most influential men in technology. In this clip, Job’s addresses a Stanford graduating class about what’s he’s learned about love, loss, and doing what you love.

The video for ‘Countdown’ premiered tonight on MTV; and although quite simple, it’s a fun video for a fun song. I love it! Beyonce ditches the blond hair throughout the video and opts for black hair, long and short and still fabulous; and of course we see more of the baby bump.

Whether red, green, pink, or blonde, Rihanna looks fabulous in just about any hair color. Although, I’ll admit, the red took a while to grow on me.  The rebellious singer, now covers the November issue of British Vogue, rocking blonde hair.
